About Throttle Blogger

Motorcycles are cool. I am not. That will not, however, stop me from talking, writing, and offering my unsolicited thoughts about motorcycles!

Throttle Blogger started as a way to share some of my motorcycle misadventures with friends and family. Some of my friends find me mildly entertaining and like to follow my shenanigans on Facebook. Others do not find me to be the least bit interesting and simply ignore my posts. Either route is fine. I share motorcycle things I’m up to here at ThrottleBlogger.com and let you decide for yourself if you’d like to follow along.

Sometimes I take fun motorcycle trips across the country, or simply ride around my home area of New Jersey/Pennsylvania. Either way, I’ll usually post photos and sometimes write about it. Follow along if you want, or not, maybe you’ll enjoy it too.

Occasionally, I’ll offer product reviews. It’s always unsponsored, so no one can sway my opinion. I use my own money on whatever I review and I’ll let you know exactly what I like and don’t like about something.

Who am I to be offering this? Nobody really. My friends usually call me Ed, though they sometimes call me other names I’d rather not repeat here. I’m not an expert at anything, but I’ll give advice about it anyway! During my day job, I am usually a photographer. In the evening, I am a wanna-be guitar player. In between, I ride motorcycles and make bad jokes.

The motorcycle thing started when I was about 9. I crashed more often than not. It was always a good time though and I never got hurt too badly. I went through the typical progression of bicycle to mini bike to dirt bike to street bike. These days I can be found riding a Suzuki Marauder, a Harley Sportster, a Yamaha FZR-600, a Honda Shadow, or whatever else I can get my hands on. My newest addition is a Suzuki DR650 that I’m still getting familiar with.

Join me here or on Facebook and see what I’m up to.
